The communication with the smart temperature and humidity sensor pro runs over one ZigBee headquarterse (contained in “Rollei Smart Thermostat Starter Set"), which acts as a central hub for the Temperature and Humidity Sensor Pro and other devices. The center simply connects to your home WiFi network and then communicates with the sensor and other devices via the modern wireless standard ZigBee. The control center and the sensor can be conveniently controlled via the free smart life apppp on your smartphone or tablet, no matter where you are. The app is very user-friendly and offers you a clear overview and many different functions.
Compatibility: Can be combined with Rollei Smart Thermostat Starter Set and Rollei Smart Thermostat
The smart temperature and humidity sensor is compatible with “Rollei Smart Thermostat”. A temperature sensor is also integrated in the smart thermostat, but the temperature measured by the thermostat sometimes deviates from the real room temperature, since the temperature measured near the heater is often higher than in the rest of the room. With the smart temperature and humidity sensor this deviation is corrected, since the sensor can always record the exact room temperature without falsification. This allows the sensor to work perfectly with the smart thermostat. For example, you can set in the app that if the room temperature falls below or exceeds a certain level measured by the smart sensor, the corresponding thermostat automatically opens or closes the heating valve in order to maintain the desired temperature in the room at all times and avoid unnecessary energy consumption and thus the reduce heating costs.

Whether standing on a piece of furniture or hanging on the wall, you decide where the sensor is best placed.
