In the exciting world of photography, innovation is key to achieving ever better results. That's why we asked professional photographer Stephan Wiesner if he would like to put our our advanced wireless remote shutter release through its paces.
This isn't the first time Stephan Wiesner has taken a close look at our remote shutter release – he already tested the previous version and provided us with productive feedback afterward.
The impressive backdrop of the blooming Lüneburg Heath provided the perfect setting for Stephan's practical test of the latest remote shutter release.
Implemented Feedback
Our Wireless Remote Shutter Release has undergone an impressive evolution in recent years. Two years ago, we launched the first version, taking into account the valuable feedback from our customers. Stephan Wiesner himself had created a video about the remote shutter release at the time and shared his thoughts on improvements. We listened carefully and are proud that his ideas have been incorporated into the development of the current version.
Especially noteworthy is the device's advanced sustainability, as it is made from recycled plastic – a step in the right direction for an environmentally conscious photography industry.
A New Era for Wireless Shooting
Among the innovations, the integrated battery indicator stands out. There's hardly anything more frustrating for a photographer than realizing the batteries are dead in front of the perfect scenery. With the new battery indicator, you always keep track and know exactly when it's time to replace the batteries.
Another highlight Wiesner mentions is the individual channel setting. "This function proves to be extremely practical, especially in situations where multiple photographers are working simultaneously. In workshops or photo excursions, the individual channel setting allows for interference-free communication between the remote shutter releases of different photographers, just like on his Iceland trip with two colleagues," he explains.

Why a Remote Shutter Release is Helpful
Stephan Wiesner also explains the general advantages of a remote shutter release in the video. Our device, for example, consists of two components – the receiver, which is connected to the camera, and the transmitter. The transmitter not only allows for wireless triggering but can also be used wired, just like the receiver. Both variants are crucial to avoid camera shake and guarantee razor-sharp images.
Time saving is another advantage of the Wireless Remote Shutter Release. Photographers can comfortably sit away from the camera while the shutter release does its job. Especially for long exposures or timelapse shots, a remote shutter release like this proves indispensable.
