For the launch of our new LED panel series VIBE, we sent both models to professional photographer Stephan Wiesner for an initial practical test. Using a setup with the new VIBE Panel 900 RGB and the VIBE Panel 900 RGB Pixel Pro, Wiesner demonstrates, even before showcasing the practical features, how important it is to be familiar with the basics of lighting in both photography and videography. By adjusting the attached barndoors on the LED panel, Wiesner shows how not only bright light can be created, but also creative effects can be achieved. With precise light and targeted shadows, entirely new possibilities for impressive visual effects open up, not just in film productions.

Versatile and compact: Anywhere

In addition to the advantage that beginners can practice lighting well with the barndoors, the photographer highlights the compactness as one of the most impressive features of the new VIBE Panels. Compared to large softboxes and continuous light heads, the softbox and the LED panel can be folded compactly, offering maximum flexibility. This applies wherever the shooting is to take place. Simply fold it up and store it in the carrying bag.

When it comes to color control, the panels are in no way inferior to comparable products. With the ability to individually adjust colors via the built-in RGB LEDs, creative effects can be achieved. Stephan Wiesner demonstrates, using the control unit on the back and also with the new smartphone app, how easy it is nowadays to adjust color temperature and hue to create the desired lighting mood. The "Color Picker" also stood out here, allowing for a super easy selection of existing colors in the set.
