Rollei launches MIOPS Splash Water Drop Kit V2
Photographing a falling water drop is always impressive – and occasionally difficult to achieve. The MIOPS Splash Water Drop Kit V2 provides a remedy, and Rollei is now selling the second version of it in its online shop. Compared to the first version, it brings several improvements.
Hamburg/Norderstedt, 10.3.2021 The MIOPS Splash Kit with holder was already a powerful gadget that made drop photography child's play. It made it possible to photograph impressive water formations that transport the viewer into a world normally hidden from the normal eye.
Not only the size of the falling drops can be adjusted, but also the time intervals at which each drop should be released. It is also possible to define whether the flash or camera should trigger with a delay. With the MIOPS Splash Kit, photographers are not only able to capture mushroom-like water formations, but also to capture drops that appear to float in the air over agitated water. And best of all: All necessary settings can be adjusted via smartphone and Bluetooth, so only the camera and flash need to be positioned.
Now MIOPS is launching the second version of the Splash Kit, called Splash Water Drop Kit V2.
The improvements: The mechanism of the water column has been optimized to prevent water leakage. Also, in the first version, the water column had to be inconveniently removed for cleaning. This has been changed so that the water column can now be more easily removed for cleaning. A screw has been attached to the Splash Kit, making it no longer necessary to open the entire housing.
There is also a hidden button that allows you to manually switch the kit to upgrade mode. Normally, however, upgrades run via the app. In addition, the circuit has been improved, which solved a problem that caused difficulties with valve triggering.
