Rollei launches optical focus spot attachment with 150mm lens

Rollei is launching a new optical focus spot attachment that comes with eight light effect stencils and five color foils. Users can create effective backgrounds with it – it's a light shaper that can make studio photography even more creative.

Hamburg/Norderstedt, March 11, 2021. The new optical focus spot attachment from Rollei features a 150mm lens, allowing users to focus on the subject. Thanks to the Bowens mount (S-Type), the light shaper is also compatible with all Rollei flashes and continuous lights, making it an optimal addition to lighting equipment.

Here's how it works: The focus spot attachment is simply attached to a studio flash/continuous light and then combined with one of the included stencils or color foils. Then, the flash/continuous light and focus spot attachment can be used as a spot attachment would normally be used. This new product effortlessly adds patterns and color to photos, creating numerous creative possibilities.

With the shadows created by the included stencils, subjects now appear as if the model, for example, is sitting under a window through which rays of the setting sun fall. But not only a window stencil is included, but also many other interesting patterns and colors.

The scope of delivery includes the lens, a lens bag, eight light effect cards (for example, window, circle with stripes, window with pleats), a card holder, five color foils (red, orange, yellow, green, and blue), and a foil holder.
