Improved, Waterproof LED Cube LUMIS Solo 2

Revised version of the LUMIS Solo 2 with extensive accessories

With the LUMIS Solo 2, Rollei introduces a new and revised version of the pocket-sized LED continuous light. Compared to its predecessor, the super-compact continuous light offers more accessories such as a spot attachment and barn doors, a magnetic plug, and an IP68 protection rating, which provides effective protection against dust and guarantees water resistance up to 10 meters for 30 minutes.
The LUMIS Solo 2 enables creative light accents and thus offers perfect mobile lighting for working with smartphones, action cams, gimbals or DSLM and DSLR cameras. Impressive shapes for light painting can be optimally realised with it.

Norderstedt, 07.04.2022. With the LUMIS Solo 2, Rollei presents the revised successor to the popular power light. The compact and powerful LED cube is equipped with extensive accessories such as barn doors, a grid or spot attachment for precise light control. Thanks to magnets on the included light modifiers and on the LUMIS Solo 2, changing them is as easy as it is fast. Of course, the included colour filters can also be combined with the light modifiers. In addition, a magnet is built into the back of the LUMIS Solo 2, so it can be easily attached to metallic surfaces.

One of the continuous light's hallmarks is its revised IP68 certified housing, which is dustproof and waterproof up to ten meters for 30 minutes. Furthermore, with 5,500 Kelvin, it has a daylight-like color temperature. Users can adjust the light intensity in four different brightness levels. The light quality is specified with a CRI of over 95. With an impressive illuminance of 1,000 lux, measured at 0.5 meters and at the highest brightness level, the new lighting solution is ideal for videos and photographic work.

Thanks to its built-in lithium-ion battery, the LED cube achieves a runtime of up to 60 minutes at the highest brightness level. Mounting the LUMIS Solo 2 on a camera is child's play thanks to the included hot shoe adapter and the ¼-inch thread. Its small size of 4.1 x 4.1 x 3.65 centimeters in combination with its equally low weight of 70 grams are ideal for small luggage.
