New Rollei 4K Actioncam action one

Impressive 4K video quality, selfie and touchscreen display

Rollei is expanding its action camera range with the action one, a newly developed action camera that impresses with extensive accessories, sophisticated recording modes and unprecedented video quality.
Within Rollei's range of action cameras, the action one will take the place of the top model with a recording quality of up to 4K at 60 FPS, integrated hardware image stabilization thanks to a six-axis gyroscope, a clear touchscreen display and a front display.

Norderstedt, 06.04.2022. With the action one, Rollei offers a new action camera that knows how to impress with numerous modes, high recording quality and many separately available accessories. The flagship of the newly developed top model is 4K recordings with up to 60 frames per second and ultra-4K recordings with an extra wide recording angle at up to 30 frames per second. Images can be taken in photo, photo-lapse or burst modes with up to 12 megapixels.
Sports enthusiasts in particular will be pleased that the Rollei Actioncam action one is equipped with a six-axis gyroscope. With this integrated hardware image stabilization, videos can be additionally stabilized – even with fast camera movements with sudden changes of direction.

The settings of the Actioncam action one contain numerous other options for creative highlights. In addition to regular video recording, the user has video-lapse, slow motion, video and photo combined modes available. Thanks to the 1.3-inch front display, video and photo recordings can also be taken and optimally aligned in selfie mode, while the camera itself can be operated via the high-resolution 2.33-inch touchscreen display. The Actioncam weighs just 116 grams with a rechargeable battery that has a capacity of 1,300 mAh and thus enables a recording time of approximately 70 minutes at the highest possible resolution.

Of course, the action one is also waterproof. Without the included protective housing up to five meters, with housing up to 30 meters. To make underwater shots even more impressive, an underwater white balance can be set. The action one supports microSD cards up to 64 gigabytes of class 10 or higher.

Operating the camera and setting the modes is not only possible on the device, because the new action one can also be controlled via app. Alternatively, the modes can also be operated with a separately available remote control in the form of a wristband. The detachable housing door over the USB-C and microSD card connection as well as a housing frame prove to be particularly practical and user-friendly. This allows the Actioncam to be charged in parallel and is thus easily suitable for longer video or timelapse recordings.

The extensive scope of delivery includes, in addition to the camera, a replaceable battery, a waterproof housing, a housing frame, a lens cover, a basic mount, two 3M adhesive labels, a curved and straight mount, a USB-C cable, a screw and a quick start guide.
