Improved F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III

Fast Easy-Lock System with Magnetic CPL Filter

Rollei is launching the fundamentally revised F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III, featuring an innovative, magnetic CPL filter for quick changes. For the first time, a third filter can be attached to the modular system using the optionally available extension rail – and all without screws or additional accessories.

Norderstedt, 02.03.2022. Rollei is expanding its popular F:X Pro filter series with the advanced rectangular filter holder. The F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III is made of precisely milled aircraft-grade aluminum and features a matte black design to reduce unwanted reflections. The new F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III allows the use of filters in sizes 100 x 100 and 100 x 150 millimeters, meeting the demands of professional filter photographers.

A special feature of the new holder is its modular system, where the two integrated spring-loaded filter slots can be expanded to three filters with a separately available extension rail. All of this without time-consuming and fiddly screwing or unscrewing. The filter holder itself is just as easy to use. The revised Easy-Lock system allows the base ring to be easily released from the filter holder and reinserted at the push of a button. The Filter Holder Mark III can be rotated 360 degrees, which is a great advantage, especially when using graduated neutral density filters.

Another new feature is the round polarizing filter (also known as a CPL filter) with a handle, which is now magnetic. This characteristic of the new CPL filter allows for quick and uncomplicated use. As known from the F:X Pro series, the included CPL filter is also equipped with the ultra-fine F:X Pro Coating, so that the system delivers razor-sharp images even with high-resolution cameras with up to 150 megapixels.

As with the previous model, the F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III comes with seven adapter rings (52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77 and 82 millimeters) and a new filter bag with an internal register for up to 10 rectangular filters.

Also new are the filter sets F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III Starter Kit and F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III Master Kit. In addition to the new filter holder and CPL filter, the F:X Pro Filter Holder Mark III Starter Kit also includes an F:X Pro Soft GND8 graduated neutral density filter. With the F:X Pro Master Kit, the largest filter set for the new Filter Holder Mark III, you also receive three neutral density filters (F:X Pro ND8, F:X Pro ND64 and F:X Pro ND1000).

For the new Filter Holder Mark III, there will be a wide range of accessories in addition to the individual sets. This includes the extension and front rail, the individually available base and the base ring. The CPL filter can also be reordered individually. A new addition is the separately available base ring with a diameter of 95 millimeters.
