Rollei Introduces Powerful, App-Controlled Soluna 150 RGB

Great news from the photography accessory manufacturer Rollei. The Soluna series is being expanded with the Soluna 150 RGB, the first RGB continuous light with a Bowens S-Type mount. 150 watts of power, stepless power control, and 19 lighting effects provide the perfect light for every situation. In addition to a variable color temperature, the new continuous light also features 360 different RGB color nuances.

Norderstedt 17.02.2022. Rollei expands the popular Soluna series with the first RGB continuous light. Thanks to the possible power supply via optionally available batteries, the new continuous light is versatile for both studio and on-location use.

The powerful 150-watt continuous light sets photo and video recordings in the right light at all times with a variable color temperature between 2,700 and 7,500 Kelvin. Furthermore, 360 different RGB color nuances in full-color mode provide color accents. For the optimal lighting situation, the power can be adjusted in one-percent increments between 0 and 100 percent. With a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of over 97, details can be reproduced true to life. The TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of over 98 also guarantees high light quality for film recordings.

Thanks to the innovative zoom LED technology permanently installed in the light, the light beam can be focused or diffused. This means that an additional spot attachment is not strictly necessary. For particularly versatile use with all common light shapers, the proven Bowens S-Type mount known from the Soluna series, as well as the umbrella holder integrated into the bayonet, are also provided.

The new Soluna 150 RGB can be controlled directly on the device for optimal settings. Even more convenient is control via an optionally available remote control using the integrated 2.4 GHz radio receiver or the free smartphone app. With both solutions, the 32 channels and 16 groups can be controlled and monitored at any time. The smartphone app also offers precise selection of the required color nuances or various lighting effects, such as party light, blue light, or TV flickering.
