Rollei expands its flash range with the "Rollei Studio" series of new studio flashes

Broad Compatibility with Current "HS Freeze" Series and Standardized Bowens Mount

With the introduction of the new "Rollei Studio" product series, Rollei presents a new studio flash series. It includes six studio flashes with outstanding features for both beginners in flash photography and professional photographers alike.
The two entry-level models offer a power of 300 and 500 watt-seconds, respectively. The four larger "Pro" models offer a choice of 400, 600, 800, or 1200 watt-seconds of power and various flash modes for maximum flexibility. A remarkable feature is the powerful modeling light for precise preview of the lighting. Other highlights include versatile compatibility with the "HS Freeze" series, common camera models, and the Bowens mount.

Norderstedt, July 6, 2023. Rollei, the renowned expert in photo accessories, is pleased to announce the launch of the new "Rollei Studio" series. With this expansion of its flash range, Rollei offers photographers an even wider selection of high-quality studio flashes for their creative projects.

The "Rollei Studio" series comprises six new studio flashes, all equipped with outstanding highlights to meet the demands of both beginners and professionals. Particularly well-suited for entry into flash photography are the two models Rollei Studio 300 and Rollei Studio 500, with a power of 300 and 500 watt-seconds, which are variably adjustable in seven f-stops. In addition, the two entry-level models feature a user-friendly LCD display, allowing for easy reading of the various settings.

The four larger "Pro" models with 400, 600, 800, or 1200 watt-seconds of power also impress with a multitude of functions. All four flashes offer a comprehensive range of modes, including manual, TTL, or HSS flash modes. This flexibility allows for achieving the desired lighting effects in hobby or professional photography.

A prominent feature of the new "Rollei Studio" series is the powerful 15-watt modeling light in the smaller models and the 30-watt modeling light in the larger flashes. This provides a bright and efficient lighting preview to enable ideal lighting even before the actual shot. Compositions can thus be precisely planned.

Furthermore, the new products are characterized by their broad compatibility. They are compatible with all available HS-Freeze studio flashes. This allows for seamless integration into existing equipment and facilitates the expansion of Rollei's flash accessories. In addition, compatibility with Rollei's radio transmitters, the Professional Radio Transmitter Mark II and the Professional U7 Radio Trigger, and with common camera brands is ensured. All Rollei Studio flashes are also equipped with a standardized Bowens mount. This ensures versatile connection to a wide range of light shapers, such as softboxes, beauty dishes, and spot attachments, as well as other accessories.
