App-controllable with daylight-like or variable color temperature and nine light effects
The popular Soluna LED continuous light series from Rollei features a wide variety of LED solutions, from compact to powerful, for photo and video shoots. The new LED continuous lights, with 60, 80, 100, and 120 watts of power, also offer maximum flexibility with optional app usage. For particularly creative applications, there are four devices with a daylight-like color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin and two devices with a variable color temperature between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin. Additionally, the new products are equipped with nine different light effects. This is particularly exciting for video recordings, which benefit from the high CRI and TLCI values. Thus, photographers and videographers, as well as vloggers, streamers, and content creators, all benefit from these devices.
Norderstedt, 21.06.2023. The Soluna series from the manufacturer Rollei is characterized by uncompromising performance, variability, and robustness. This is exactly where the six new LED continuous lights come in. Thanks to their convincing features, such as light effects and app use, as well as their high CRI and TLCI values, the new products are exciting for photography, videography, vlogging, streaming, and content creation.
With a low weight of only one kilogram, the Soluna L-60 (129 Euro RRP) is a lightweight among the Soluna continuous lights. It has a continuously adjustable power of 60 watts and offers a daylight-like color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin. The Soluna L-100 (169 Euro RRP) is also designed as a compact overall package with a continuously adjustable power of 100 watts.
For even more flexibility, the Soluna 80 (149 Euro RRP) and Soluna 120 (199 Euro RRP) are also available. With these devices, the power of 80 or 120 watts is also continuously adjustable. The lights also offer a daylight-like color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin or are available as a bi-color version with a color temperature between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin as Soluna 80Bi (169 Euro RRP) and Soluna 120Bi (229 Euro RRP). Both the bi-color versions and the regular models are also equipped with dual power supply, so that the LED continuous lights can also be operated with separately available V-mount batteries if required. New compatible accessories are also available for this, such as the V-mount battery adapter for NP-F batteries. In addition, Rollei will exclusively offer a reflector and a carrying bag optionally for the Soluna 80, 80Bi, 120 and 120Bi.
Particularly practical for all devices is the Color Rendering Index (CRI) of a maximum of 96 and the Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) of a maximum of 98. These characteristics ensure excellent color reproduction and professional illumination. This is particularly advantageous for video recordings.
Like the other well-known models in the Soluna series, the six new LED continuous lights feature the Bowens S-Type mount, which allows for flexible use of light shapers such as reflectors and softboxes. This makes the LED lights versatile and opens up numerous creative possibilities for different scenarios.
In addition to the daylight-like and variable color temperature of the individual models, a selection of nine different light effects is available for creative applications. Classic effects such as TV, broken bulb, thunderstorm, and flames, as well as pulsating, paparazzi, high/low beam, SOS, and warning light are usable. These not only invite great creativity but also make it possible to create a desired mood for video recordings.
With the new models, in addition to control on the device itself, the free "Rollei Studio" app for mobile devices is used. This app simplifies the adjustment of the lighting situation and allows for easy fine-tuning of the LED lights.
