With the Desview Camera Monitor R72, the photo accessory expert presents an external field monitor with a 7-inch touchscreen display. Thanks to a variety of useful functions, connections and the possibility of battery operation, the camera monitor is available not only for studio shoots, but also on location.

With the new external Desview Camera Monitor R72, Rollei offers an ideal solution. Despite its low weight of just 380 grams, the The Desview Field Monitor R72, the new top model among Desview's external camera monitors, comes with a seven-inch touchscreen display. If required, the field monitor can be operated not only via touchscreen, but also with the buttons on the upper part of the monitor. In addition, the monitor has a Full HD resolution and an ultra-high brightness of an impressive 2,600 nits. This means that the new external monitor can be operated even in strong sunlight and the content is clearly recognizable. Useful functions are available for photo and video recordings with the Desview Camera Monitor R72. For example, overexposed areas can be highlighted with the "Zebra" function. The "False Color" function allows overexposed areas to be displayed in dark red, for example, and thus corrected. Furthermore, the camera monitor offers the following additional functions for optimizing recordings during shooting: Aspect Ratio, Focus Peaking, Waveform, Grid and Audio Meter. Videos in 4K quality can be played back from the camera via the HDMI input and the separate HDMI output of the field monitor on another device. In addition, the monitor offers a 3.5-millimeter jack connection, to which suitable headphones can be easily connected. Flexible working is ensured by the optional use of batteries. With compatible NP-F type batteries, a full battery charge provides up to approximately 1.5 hours of operating time. For quick and secure attachment in horizontal or vertical position, directly to the camera or on a tripod, the integrated 1/4-inch connections on the side and bottom of the monitor, as well as the included cold shoe adapter, are also provided.
