Rollei presents the new generation of the legendary C-series: Eleven years after its launch, Rollei is perfecting one of Germany's most successful tripod series and making it even more uncompromising. For the first time, carbon and aluminum versions are technically identical – with the same height, same scope of delivery, and identical functions. The 2026 version introduces eight significant innovations, including a new ball head with three spirit levels, a divisible and reversible center column, integrated spikes, and a larger monopod. The 2026 version is the result of intensive work: hundreds of reviews were analyzed, and professionals and customers were surveyed. The goal was clear: to implement precisely the improvements that users desire.

Success story since 2015
Named Germany's best-selling tripod series in 2015, the C-series has since convinced with over 1,000 positive reviews, an average of 4.9 stars, and numerous test seals. With the 2026 version, Rollei sets new standards in functionality, flexibility, and precision. The most significant advancement: Carbon and aluminum versions are identical in every respect for the first time – same height, identical scope of delivery, same functions. The only difference lies in the material: The carbon version is around 15 to 17 percent lighter, the aluminum version scores with maximum robustness.
Eight innovations that make the difference
The newly developed ball head for the C5i and C6i offers three dynamic spirit levels for precise alignment, is Arca-Swiss compatible, and features 360-degree rotation. The divisible center column allows for low-angle perspectives for macro photography and low-angle shots, while the reversible center column enables overhead shots. The enlarged monopod leg can be combined with the center column to create a longer, more stable monopod for sports and wildlife photography. All tripod legs feature integrated spikes for secure grip on ice, snow, and uneven terrain – rubber feet are also included. Each tripod comes with a high-quality carrying bag, new rubberized twist locks for better grip, and, at the request of many customers, a smartphone holder.
Three models, six variants – for every demand
The C6i models are the professionals of the series: With 12 kilograms load capacity, 171.5 centimeters maximum height and a minimum height of only 22.5 centimeters, they offer maximum flexibility for low-angle macro shots up to studio photography. The 4-section legs pack down to 47 centimeters. The C6i Carbon, including head, weighs 1.57 kilograms and is available at an introductory price of 169 Euros (RRP 249.99 Euros), the C6i Aluminum at 1.84 kilograms for 99 Euros (RRP 149.99 Euros).
The C5i models are the versatile all-rounders: With 8 kilograms load capacity, 158 centimeters maximum height and also 22.5 centimeters minimum height, they are the perfect balance between stability and compactness. The 4-section legs pack down to 44 centimeters. The C5i Carbon, including head, weighs 1.28 kilograms and is available at an introductory price of 129 Euros (RRP 179.99 Euros), the C5i Aluminum at 1.54 kilograms for 89 Euros (RRP 129.99 Euros).
The Compact Traveler No. 1 models are the ultralight travel companions: With 8 kilograms load capacity, 145 centimeters maximum height and 5-section legs – which enable the ultra-compact packing size of only 34.5 centimeters – they fit easily into any backpack. Available in black and orange. The Compact Traveler No. 1 Carbon, including head, weighs only 961 grams and is available at an introductory price of 99 Euros (RRP 149.99 Euros), the Compact Traveler No. 1 Aluminum at 1.14 kilograms for 69 Euros (RRP 99.99 Euros).
Repair instead of replace: New spare parts assortment
With the 2026 version, Rollei introduces a comprehensive spare parts assortment. Tripod bags, quick release plates, tripod heads, rubber feet, and complete repair kits with all important components can now be reordered. The parts can be assembled without special tools – for a sustainable investment over many years.
