Improved grip and optimized battery slots

Rollei has successfully implemented customer feedback in the new version of the LED tube light, which now features improved battery slots and a permanently integrated handle with a 1/4-inch connector. The powerful 20-watt LED light with 360 color nuances can be used to stage photo and video shoots on location and in the studio.

Norderstedt, 08.06.2022. With the Lumen Stick RGB, Rollei offers a powerful LED light for versatile use in photography and videography. Whether in a professional photo studio or at home: following the successful implementation of customer feedback, the revised LED tube light is now available for purchase.

The total of 264 built-in LEDs ensure optimal illumination of subjects, covering a color temperature between 3,200 and 9,999 Kelvin in CCT mode with 87 cool white and warm white LEDs each. In RGB mode, 360 color nuances can be controlled with the 90 RGB LEDs. If required, the settings made can be saved in eight different color profiles, so that previous settings can be quickly accessed for subsequent shoots. The clear and high-contrast OLED display serves to control all settings. As before, the tube light can be operated directly on the device or remotely via the free "Rollei Lumen" smartphone app. It is possible to modify colors, intensity, and gradients without leaving your position during shooting. Color profiles can also be created, saved, and retrieved at any time in the app.

Absolute flexibility is ensured by dual power supply via the mains cable or, for mobile use, via the two included lithium-ion batteries. The NP-F750 type lithium-ion batteries now sit particularly securely in the revised battery slots, preventing them from falling out during shooting. The battery life of the new model is still up to three hours.

You can also now benefit from the revised grip, which has been permanently integrated into the new design and prevents a possible breakage of the 1/4-inch tripod thread. This means the Lumen Stick RGB can either be held by hand or mounted vertically on a tripod via the 1/4-inch connector. Maximum flexibility is also offered by the additional 1/4-inch connector in the middle of the revised RGB tube light, allowing it to be mounted horizontally on a tripod. The included case provides optimal protection during transport or storage, accommodating not only the Lumen Stick RGB but also the accessories included in the set, such as batteries and power cable.
