Compact Tripod for Low-Angle Shots

Rollei introduces a new tripod for photographers who primarily work in macro photography. The new C5i Macro Aluminium Tripod can, of course, be used as a classic tripod, but also for low-angle macro shots at a 90° angle or for overhead setups. And thanks to its easy and quick conversion, it can even be used as a monopod.

Norderstedt, 11.08.2021. The photo accessory manufacturer Rollei presents a new tripod from the popular C5i series. The new C5i Macro Aluminum Tripod is truly a multi-talent. It is particularly suitable for macro photography and low-angle shots. This is made possible by the reversible center column, which can be rotated by 90° if required. In this position, photographers can rotate the center column 360° and shoot from any position. The included panorama ball head also allows for ultra-smooth movements and thus precise shots.

If there is a need for a monopod, the C5i Macro can be quickly converted into a monopod with a maximum working height of 122.85 centimeters and a load capacity of 5 kilograms. As a three-legged tripod, the C5i Macro allows for a maximum working height of 129.7 centimeters and a maximum load capacity of 15 kilograms, which is distributed over the three legs, each with four leg segments.

The C5i Macro impresses with a compact packing size of 44 centimeters and a low weight of 1.3 kilograms. The macro tripod also comes with a matching quick-release plate and a carrying bag for safe transport.
