103 Years of the Rollei Brand: Great Additions to the F:X Pro Filter Series

Exclusive Limited Edition Round & Rectangular Filter Sets Available for a Short Time Only

To mark its 103rd birthday, Rollei is introducing limited edition round and rectangular filter sets that will only be available for a very short time. The round filter set "F:X Pro Round Filter Set + Astroklar Limited Edition" comes with five ND filters and one Astroklar filter, and is available in diameters from 62 to 82 millimeters. Also new is the rectangular filter set "F:X Pro GND Set + Astroklar Limited Edition", consisting of four different GND filters and one Astroklar filter. Both sets promise a great deal of creative freedom due to the wide selection of included filters.

Norderstedt, January 25, 2023. Just in time for the 103rd birthday of the "Rollei" brand, we are presenting two new filter sets for a limited time. With the new F:X Pro Round Filter Set + Astroklar Limited Edition, Rollei offers five F:X Pro ND filters including an Astroklar filter in a limited edition. Also new is the likewise limited F:X Pro GND Set + Astroklar Limited Edition with four GND rectangular filters and one Astroklar rectangular filter. The new F:X Pro filter sets cover a wide range of landscape and nature photography.

F:X Pro Round Filter Set + Astroklar Limited Edition

In addition to the round Astroklar filter, which largely reduces unwanted yellow and orange components of light thanks to a special coating, the "F:X Pro Round Filter Set + Astroklar Limited Edition" includes ND filters in strengths ND8, ND64, ND512, ND1000, and ND2000. The selection of five different ND filters allows for compensating for slight overexposures and enabling demanding long exposures. Depending on the filter thread, the round filter set can be attached via the screw thread in diameters from 62 to 82 millimeters.

F:X Pro GND Set + Astroklar Limited Edition

Rectangular filter photographers can also rejoice: the second set impresses with an exciting selection of GND rectangular filters with soft and medium gradients, covering almost all subject possibilities. With the F:X Pro Soft GND8, Soft GND16, Medium GND8, and Medium GND16 included in the set, almost any lighting situation can be handled. This set also includes an Astroklar filter that corresponds to the dimensions 100 x 100 millimeters.

Gorilla®*-Glass and the popular F:X Pro Coating

As expected from Rollei filters, the new round and rectangular filter sets are also made of Gorilla®*-Glass. Thanks to a special manufacturing process, the filters are particularly robust and at the same time guarantee extremely high light transmission and color neutrality. The additional anti-scratch layer gives the filter glass its final hardness against mechanical impacts and ensures that dirt from grease, water, or mud can be removed quickly and effortlessly. The filters have also been coated with Rollei's specially developed F:X Pro Coating. This ensures that images are always reproduced with 99.5 percent reflection-free clarity, exemplary color accuracy, and consistently pin-sharp—even with extremely high-resolution cameras with 150 megapixels.
