C5i Pro & C6i Pro: The new Carbon Tripod Pro Series

The Pro Series: Ball head with dual panorama function and a versatile center column

With two new carbon tripods, Rollei expands its range of carbon tripods. The new C5i Pro and C6i Pro tripods complement the popular tripod models and impress with their usual high quality. Made from eleven layers of braided carbon, the new Pro series also ensures maximum stability and load capacity. For example, the new ball head boasts a dual panorama function and a load capacity of up to twelve kilograms.

Norderstedt, 31.01.2023. The entry-level tripods C5i and C6i are among Rollei's most popular models. These are now complemented by two new members, which also belong to the new Pro series. Not only photo and video professionals can look forward to the usual high quality and numerous improvements. The new products also offer exciting highlights for content creators who prefer to work with smartphones.

Both the C5i Pro and the C6i Pro feature legs made of the finest eleven-layer carbon fiber. With a maximum load capacity of ten kilograms for the C5i Pro and twelve kilograms for the C6i Pro, both models ensure maximum stability on almost any surface. For more challenging locations, such as rocks or ice, the integrated spikes can also be used.

The C5i Pro carbon tripod offers a minimum working height of 58 centimeters and a maximum working height of 134 centimeters, all with a compact pack size of 47 centimeters and a weight of 1.17 kilograms. The larger C6i Pro carbon tripod also offers a maximum working height of 146 centimeters despite its 1.47 kilogram weight and a pack size of 53.5 centimeters.

Also new to the Pro tripods is the redesigned ball head, which is not only characterized by its smooth and precise adjustment. It has been supplemented with the dual panorama function, so there is a second panorama function directly on the quick release plate. This makes panoramas a breeze on any uneven surface. The two spirit levels ensure perfect alignment. Should the space not be sufficient for all three legs of the C5i Pro and C6i Pro, both tripods can be converted into a monopod in just a few steps. A corresponding belt holder is included in the scope of delivery for easy use of the monopod.

The center column also comes with new features that will surely impress you. For particularly low-angle shots, the center column can not only be inverted but also split and used as a short version. In addition, the center column offers a hidden compartment for an integrated tool and the included smartphone holder – so the accessories are always with you without an extra bag.

Both models also feature a 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch thread on the tripod shoulder for attaching additional accessories, such as microphones or pocket lights. For safe transport of the tripod, both models come with a practical carrying bag.
