Amidst pines, birches, and maple trees, a signal box stands at the Eselsfürth in Kaiserslautern, which was put into operation in 1938 and has long seen better days. From the outside, the building presents itself in chic red and sandstone-colored pastel shades, but from the inside, it is likely to be of interest mostly to fans of technology, railways, and photography.

During our tour through Dubai, we tested our new HS Freeze 6s studio flashes and 4s at various locations. This included a photoshoot at a lost place in the Dubai desert, where temperatures reached 42 degrees Celsius, and due to the lack of electricity, we were absolutely dependent on the flashes' powerful battery performance.
