Professional photographer Stephan Wiesner also took a closer look at our light mats and published a test report in the form of a YouTube video.
There he says that he is absolutely thrilled with the continuous lights, which led him to even buy three more Lumen Flex – in all three available sizes (S, M and L).

Rollable Light Mats

But what is so special about these lights? For Stephan Wiesner, the answer begins with a particularly practical feature: namely, that the light mats can even be rolled up.

This makes them easy to transport and store without any problems, while having a very small packed size, which means they are particularly space-saving.

Diffuser Cloth and Softbox in Three Sizes

Wiesner also discusses the diffuser cloth and the optionally available softbox. He presents all three sizes of the lights and also explains which light can be used in which setup. For example, a portrait situation where three lamps are sometimes very practical because they can illuminate the model absolutely precisely from various directions. For example, one light would be used from the front, which, as Wiesner explains, makes the person look a little more rested because dark circles under the eyes are somewhat concealed. Then a hair light from behind and one from the side for contours.
