VH-6 and VH-9: New Fluid Video Heads with High Load Capacity

360-degree rotatable and adjustable, ambidextrous handle

Photo accessory expert Rollei is expanding its video head range with two new members, the VH-6 and VH-9. The new VH-6 video head impresses with a 10 kilogram load capacity, and the VH-9 video head with a high load capacity of up to 12 kilograms. In addition, both heads feature an ambidextrous and extendable handle. This ensures smooth, shake-free camera pans even with larger camera-lens combinations.

Norderstedt, 09.03.2023. For creating professional video recordings, using an appropriate video tripod head offers many advantages. Videography style elements such as smooth pans can be easily and smoothly achieved with Rollei's new products. The VH-6 and VH-9 video heads are therefore particularly interesting for videographers and content creators who want to create high-quality recordings.

Stepless and shake-free vertical movements are ensured by the smooth fluid damping. In addition, the base with its 360-degree rotation capability also contributes to clean pans.

Made of robust aluminum, both heads are equipped with a handle that enables panning. For maximum flexibility, the handles on both the VH-6 video head and the larger VH-9 video head can not only be mounted on both sides but also extended for even more control. With a weight of 700 grams for the VH-6 and 930 grams for the VH-9, good basic stability is provided even for larger camera-lens combinations. With a base diameter of 55 millimeters, the VH-6 impresses with a tilt range of -50 to +90 degrees. The VH-9 has a tilt range of -65 to +90 degrees with a base diameter of 73 millimeters.

Whether 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch thread, the quick release plate of the video heads is equipped for every situation and easily carries 10 kilograms or, with the larger video head, up to 12 kilograms. The attached safety locks ensure secure hold of the equipment. The VH-9 video head also features an RS2/RS3 safety mechanism, and both offer the option of attaching additional accessories with an additional 1/4-inch thread.
