With the HS Freeze Q1, Rollei presents the first LED hot shoe flash. Available with a universal mount or specifically for Sony Multi-Interface, the HS Freeze Q1 offers flexibility for studio and outdoor shoots. The innovative 2-in-1 lighting solution switches between flash (5,500 Kelvin) and bi-color LED light (2,700-6,500 Kelvin). With easy handling, support for TTL, HSS, and fast 20 shots per second, it is ideal for creative photography.

Norderstedt, 04.09.2024. With the introduction of the HS Freeze Q1 LED hot shoe flash, Rollei presents a groundbreaking lighting solution that will delight both photographers and videographers. The HS Freeze Q1 combines powerful flash with a bi-color LED continuous light in a compact device. Maximum flexibility and performance for a wide range of shooting situations are guaranteed.

The new product offers a unique 2-in-1 lighting solution that includes both a flash with 5,500 Kelvin and an LED light with a variable color temperature of 2,700 to 6,500 Kelvin. This versatility allows switching between light sources as needed. This is particularly advantageous for various shooting scenarios in the studio or outdoors – from portraits to product photography to video productions, the HS Freeze Q1 makes it possible.

With an impressive guide number of 26 and a 12-watt LED continuous light, the HS Freeze Q1 ensures perfect illumination, even in difficult lighting conditions. This guarantees professional results in both flash and continuous light modes.

The HS Freeze Q1 is offered in two versions: as a multi-compatible hot shoe and as the HS Freeze Q1s with a Sony Multi-Interface connector. In addition, the HS Freeze Q1 can be used with an optional Sony adapter, allowing maximum flexibility in camera equipment choice. The high-resolution OLED display and intuitive touch controls of the HS Freeze Q1 enable quick and precise adjustment of all settings. Supported modes such as TTL, manual control, High-Speed Sync (HSS), and 1st/2nd curtain sync offer full creative control.

The integrated battery of the HS Freeze Q1 allows up to 1,000 flashes at full power, ensuring long operating times without constant battery changes. With a speed of 20 shots per second and a short recycling time of only 1.5 seconds, the HS Freeze Q1 is always ready for dynamic photo sessions. The special round flash head of the HS Freeze Q1 ensures even illumination, ideal for portrait shots. The Quick-Freeze-Mount system allows for the quick attachment of light modifiers such as softboxes and color filters to adapt the light to any shooting situation. For even more flexibility with the HS Freeze Q1, Rollei also offers suitable accessories.
