Lion Rock 25 Mark II sets new standards in wildlife and landscape photography
Rollei gives the Lion Rock 25 Mark II from the popular Lion Rock series a new look. With its special color scheme, the new Camouflage Edition is aimed at demanding wildlife and landscape photographers and was implemented due to numerous customer requests. The carbon tripod combines the numerous advantages of the Lion Rock 25 Mark II with an exciting new design.
Norderstedt, March 18, 2022. Rollei presents its popular carbon tripod Lion Rock 25 Mark II in a Camouflage Edition limited to 300 pieces. Thanks to its special color scheme, the carbon tripod is ideally suited for outdoor use in wildlife photography. Additional covering or bandaging to hide shiny areas is no longer necessary. The screws were also chosen in a darker color.
Like the standard version, the camouflage variant is also made of high-quality carbon with eleven layers. This guarantees high stability and a maximum load capacity of up to 25 kilograms with a low dead weight of just 2.59 kilograms, including the ball head supplied.
Thanks to the tripod's quick-release fasteners, its legs can be infinitely adjusted to the desired length with just one hand. The included center column with a length of 28 centimeters allows a maximum height of 188 centimeters. Using the spikes integrated into the tripod legs, the Lion Rock can be easily used in sand and other difficult surfaces. A tripod hook on the center column also allows for additional weighting to secure the stand.
With an extremely compact pack size of 67 centimeters and the included carrying bag, the carbon tripod is perfect for photography on travel or on longer excursions into the wilderness. The included ball head, which can also be loaded with up to 25 kilograms, includes a quick-release plate with Arca-Swiss compatibility.
