The New LED Continuous Light: Soluna 300

Low heat generation and high energy efficiency for flicker-free shots

With the Soluna 300, manufacturer Rollei expands the powerful Soluna LED series with another member boasting a powerful 300 watts, which are continuously adjustable. The revised Soluna 500 Pro also impresses with its new, even quieter fan. Due to their flicker-free light characteristics, both LED continuous lights are ideal for photographers and videographers who prefer to work in the studio.

Norderstedt, 05.08.2021 The new Soluna 300 expands the product family of LED continuous lights from the Soluna series with a compact model that is aimed at photographers and videographers who prefer to work in the studio. With the Soluna 300 as a creative tool for illuminating subjects, flicker-free shots can be achieved with low heat generation and high energy efficiency.

With a power of 300 watts, which can be continuously adjusted between 0 and 100% in one-percent increments, and a daylight-like color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin, the fan can be switched off for video recordings. For even more creative possibilities, the Soluna 300 offers five different lighting effects, each with ten different frequencies. The CRI (Color Rendering Index) of the light is over 97 and the TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) is over 98. The Soluna 300 is also characterized by an illuminance of 48,500 lux (measured at 0.5 meters without reflector).

Light setups can be set in 32 groups and 16 channels and can not only be operated on the LED continuous light itself, but also via the Soluna Remote Control or the smartphone app. The LED continuous light is also equipped with DMX512 control.

In addition to the scope of delivery, which includes a 70° standard reflector and the corresponding protective cap in addition to the continuous light, the Soluna 300 is equipped with the Bowens S-Type bayonet. This allows a wide variety of compatible light shapers to be used.
