Together with its partner brand Viltrox, Rollei presents the new models of the popular AF 75 mm F/1.2 XF Pro XF lens for Fuji, now also available for the Sony E- or Nikon Z-Mount. As part of the Pro series, the new lenses also stand out with a superb aperture and significantly improved lenses. In addition, they feature not only manual and autofocus, but also eye-detection autofocus. The new lenses particularly excel when shooting portraits and detailed street photography.
Norderstedt, 19.07.2023. Great news for all Sony and Nikon fans: Together with Viltrox, Rollei is now presenting the popular APS-C lens AF 75 mm F/1.2 Pro for cameras with Sony E- or Nikon Z-Mount. The new Pro-series lenses also impress with a superior aperture, special glass elements, and three ED lenses, resulting in outstanding and all-round improved quality.
With a fixed focal length of 75 millimeters, the new products deliver impressively clear images and an ultimately beautiful virtual experience. Not only manual and autofocus are supported in the new models, but also eye-detection autofocus, which automatically focuses on the eyes. The quick switch between manual and autofocus is done via the attached AF and MF mode switch.
In addition, the lenses with the fast, silent STM focusing motor can also be used particularly well for video recordings, for example. Manual adjustment of the aperture can be made at any time via the aperture ring.
The slightly longer focal length of 75 millimeters is particularly well suited for portraits and details in street photography. The new lenses feature a robust metal housing and consist of 11 lens groups with 16 glass elements of the highest optical quality. This is exactly what characterizes Viltrox's own Pro series. An integrated USB-C port on each lens ensures the installation of future firmware updates.
