Rollei, together with Viltrox, introduces the new camera monitors DC-X2 and DC-X3. Both monitors feature a 6-inch touchscreen display. With a Full HD resolution and 2,000 nits brightness, content remains clearly visible even in strong sunlight. The new products offer various connections, such as 4K-HDMI In/Out and support LUT imports via USB. The DC-X3 also features SDI In/Out connections. Thanks to the flexible power supply via NP-F batteries, USB-C, or DC connections, the monitors can also be used on the go. Functions such as Zebra, False Color, and Center Cross, and many more, make them ideal for professional recordings.

Norderstedt, 31.07.2024. Rollei, a leading provider of photo and video accessories, is pleased to present the new camera monitors DC-X2 and DC-X3 in cooperation with Viltrox. These models promise a significant improvement in image quality compared to the camera display, user-friendliness, and versatility for video shoots alike.

Both monitors, the DC-X2 and the DC-X3, are equipped with a generous 6-inch touchscreen display. This large display provides an optimal overview of captured images and videos, significantly simplifying work both in the studio and on location. The intuitive touchscreen operation allows users to effortlessly navigate through various menus and settings, making handling particularly user-friendly.

An impressive Full HD resolution ensures that every detail is displayed clearly and sharply. With a brightness of 2,000 nits, content remains clearly visible even in strong sunlight. This high brightness enables problem-free use of the monitors in various environments and lighting conditions.

The DC-X2 is equipped with 4K-HDMI In/Out, NP-F, USB-C, and other connections that enable lossless real-time transmission of content. The DC-X3 also features SDI In/Out, supporting professional applications. Both models offer a USB port, through which, for example, LUTs (Look-Up-Tables) for color corrections can be imported. The power supply of the devices is flexibly ensured by NP-F, USB-C, and DC connections. A 3.5 mm jack connection allows for comfortable audio playback via headphones. Integrated 1/4-inch connections and the included cold shoe adapter ensure quick and secure attachment to a camera or tripod.

Thanks to functions such as the Zebra function, the False Color function, and the Center Cross function, the DC-X2 and DC-X3 camera monitors are particularly suitable for the demands of professional video recording. The Zebra function marks overexposed areas, while the False Color function displays them in dark red to facilitate corrections. The precise adjustment of aspect ratios is supported by the Center Cross function. Other useful functions include Aspect Ratio, Safe Area, Focus Peaking, waveform control of luminance level, grid division of the image into individual areas, and the Audio Meter for displaying the audio level.

Both models offer flexible power supply options. They can be operated with the included NP-F battery, via USB-C connections for power banks, or via the integrated DC connections with a cable. This flexibility ensures uninterrupted operation, whether in the studio or on the go.
