Rollei introduces: Teleprompters in three sizes, timer, and new Desview monitor

With the new Desview products, Rollei offers accessories for professional presentations, videos, and livestreams. These include three teleprompters in 20, 22, or 24-inch sizes, each equipped with two monitors. Also new are a timer and a 21.5-inch broadcast monitor. The three Desview DT Teleprompters allow for flexible camera mounting and clear text projection, while the compatible BG200 timer provides precise time control. The broadcast monitor impresses with 1,920 × 1,080 pixel resolution, 1,000 nits brightness, and professional features such as Full Waveform Monitoring. All devices are robust and ideal for mobile use.

Norderstedt, August 21, 2024. With the new Desview products, Rollei offers the right accessories for professional presentations, videos, and livestreams. Among the new products are three teleprompters, a timer for the new teleprompters, and a broadcast monitor. These devices promise a significant improvement in image monitoring, user-friendliness, and versatility.

Desview DT Teleprompter
The Desview DT Teleprompter (starting at 969 Euros RRP) is available in 20, 22, or 24-inch sizes and consists of two monitors. One of the monitors serves as the text source, while the second monitor displays a live preview from the camera. Mounting is simple, by screwing it onto the teleprompter rail, and the script is projected onto the teleprompter glass. A camera can be attached to the back, with flexible height and width adjustments to support various cameras.

The beam splitter glass of the Desview DT has 26 layers, offers 80 percent light transmission and 20 percent reflection, and enables wide-angle shots without vignetting. Control is via the exclusive teleprompter software and a remote control, which allows text, speed, and background to be adjusted.

After use, all parts of the teleprompter can be stored compactly and securely in the included case, facilitating transport for mobile use.

Desview Timer BG200
The equally new Desview Timer BG200 (199 Euros RRP) is ideal for presentations, video recordings, and livestreams. It allows you to keep track of time and make your recordings precise and professional. Specifically developed for Desview's new DT20, DT22, and DT24 teleprompter models, it ensures seamless integration and optimal use of the hardware.
A clearly visible red display ensures excellent readability, even from a greater distance and in difficult lighting conditions. The convenient remote control allows easy operation of all functions such as countdown, stopwatch, and brightness settings. Installation is quick and easy, by attaching it directly to the rail above the teleprompter's preview monitor.

Desview Monitor D21-HB
The 21.5-inch broadcast monitor (1,269 Euros RRP) offers precise image monitoring with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels and vibrant colors thanks to LED backlighting. Multi-screen display allows simultaneous monitoring of multiple camera inputs, which is particularly useful for complex productions. With a brightness of 1,000 nits, visibility is maintained even in bright light, while various connectivity options, including HDMI and SDI, offer maximum flexibility.

The monitor can be powered by V-mount batteries, an AC power cable, or an XLR power connection, allowing use in various environments. Additionally, it supports vertical display, ideal for social media videos or vertically filmed scenes. Professional features such as Full Waveform Monitoring, custom 3D LUTs, and extended dynamic range provide comprehensive image analysis and creative design options on-site.

Robust and durable thanks to an aluminum housing, the monitor also offers focus peaking, zebra, safe area, and ratio markers for precise recordings. The color gamut of 99.5% DCI-P3 guarantees vivid and accurate colors, which are essential for professional color grading and post-production.
