Rollei launches dashcam specifically for motorcycles

Rollei is launching a dashcam specifically designed to meet the needs of motorcyclists. Whether the dashcam is to be used for sporty riding, touring, or relaxed outings. With a large display and two HD cameras, the M1 can be conveniently controlled via a control unit, remote control, or app. Robustly constructed, with integrated GPS and adjustable G-sensor sensitivity, the M1 is sold complete with all accessories.

Hamburg/Norderstedt, 09.09.2020 – Rollei presents its first dashcam, the "M1 Motorcycle Dashcam", which is specially designed to meet the needs of motorcyclists. The M1 features two weatherproof cameras for front and rear views with wide-angle lenses and electronic image stabilization. Individual settings can be easily made with the "Rollei Dashcam" app. If you don't want to take off your gloves, you can also use the included remote control to start or lock a recording, take a photo, or adjust the sound. On the control unit with a clear display, photo or video recordings, the recording interval and G-sensor sensitivity, as well as other functions, can also be set.

When the motorcycle is started, the dashcam is activated and automatically starts recording with a video resolution of 1080p and 30 FPS. The data is temporarily saved. If an accident occurs, the current recording interval is additionally write-protected and thus cannot be overwritten when the memory is full. Particularly practical: The sensitivity of the G-sensor is individually adjustable and can be adapted to your own riding style. The dashcam is powered by the motorcycle battery.

The M1 motorcycle dashcam is delivered with extensive mounting accessories and also offers a slot for a microSD card, which is not included in the scope of delivery.
