Urban Traveler & Urban Traveler Mini – lightweight, robust and compact

City trips have experienced a real boom in recent years. From educational trips to discovering the nightlife, individual short trips to exciting metropolises have become popular photo excursions. The new Rollei "Urban Traveler" and "Urban Traveler Mini" tripods are perfectly made for exactly this kind of travel photography. The two particularly robust and lightweight carbon tripods fit into any backpack and can easily be taken to any location in the world. The two carbon tripods are light, stable and at the same time offer many useful functions. But the compact tripods don't just assist with photography when travelling. The new models also offer all the necessary functions for a perfect picture in standard situations: Their ¼-inch threads, for example, allow for the mounting of additional accessories. There is also a scaling option on the lowest leg segment. By deliberately dispensing with the respective center column, the Urban Travelers are particularly narrow, yet still impress with a high load capacity. The optionally available center columns allow for an extension of up to 32 cm. Both tripods come with a ball head.

The Urban Traveler is suitable for DSLM and DSLR cameras. It stands on the proven rubber feet with integrated spikes and has a load capacity of up to 8 kg with a dead weight of 1122 g. The minimum height of the tripod is 15 cm – the maximum height is 128 cm – all with a packed size of only 51.5 cm. The included ball head offers two alignment options, so that horizontal and vertical panoramas can be taken. A leveling unit is located in the tripod shoulder for quick balancing of the tripod head. The Urban Traveler Mini is particularly suitable for DSLM cameras. Three ¼-inch threads make it possible to mount sufficient accessories on the tripod. The mini tripod reaches a minimum height of 10.5 cm and a maximum height of 40 cm. The maximum load capacity is up to 5 kg with a dead weight of just 375 g. The packed size is 26.5 cm, which is particularly easy to store, and the included ball head allows for panoramas on the vertical axis. The scope of delivery includes the tripod, the ball head and a quick-release plate. The Urban Traveler Mini is available for a total of €77.59 – the matching center column for only €19.39.
