Two new LUX kits with battery, accessories and 100 W power

With the new RGB and Bi-Color kits of the LUX series, Rollei presents two complete lighting solutions for demanding photo and video shoots. Both sets are ready for immediate use and include not only the LED light but also extensive accessories such as a boost reflector, barndoors, softball, and a honeycomb attachment. The heart of the kits is the newly developed 71-watt-hour battery, which has been adapted to customer requirements. It attaches directly to the light without additional cables, blends seamlessly into the design, and can even be used as a compact stand. With up to 46,800 Lux light output, optional RGB colors or variable color temperature, and smart app control, the new LUX kits offer maximum flexibility for professional, mobile productions.

Norderstedt, 23.04.2025. Rollei expands its successful LUX series with two new 100-watt continuous light kits. Each kit contains everything necessary for creators who work on the go: a powerful LED light, the new 71-watt-hour battery, and a selection of light shapers such as a boost reflector, barndoors, softball, and honeycomb attachment. This gives users a complete solution from a single source – ready for immediate use and without compromising on quality or control.

Both sets – the RGB kit and the Bi-Color kit – come standard with the new battery, which ensures maximum mobility and enables wireless operation. With 100 watts of light output, extensive accessories, and the choice between RGB or Bi-Color versions, both kits offer full flexibility for any shooting situation. The boost reflector is part of both kits and increases the light output to up to 46,800 Lux – ideal for professional applications with high demands on brightness and light quality.

The new 71-watt-hour battery is the result of intensive customer feedback and has been completely redesigned. It seamlessly integrates into the light's design and utilizes the device's full width, creating a harmonious overall look. The battery is attached to the bottom of the light and, due to its flat design, can also be used as a small stand – ideal for mobile setups without additional equipment. Thanks to the direct connection via an integrated interface, the battery is connected to the light without an additional cable, which enables particularly fast and uncomplicated handling. With a capacity of 71 watt-hours (4,800 milliampere-hours), it offers sufficient power for longer assignments, is approved for air travel, and is also available separately (79 Euros, RRP: 99 Euros). Naturally, it is fully compatible with all previous models of the LUX LED continuous light series.

The RGB kit offers a 100-watt RGB color light with a wide range of 360 colors and a variable color temperature from 2,700 to 6,500 Kelvin. With the boost reflector, it achieves an impressive light output of up to 46,800 Lux. As with all models in the LUX series, users can also rely on the proven app control, which allows all functions to be conveniently operated – alternatively also via an optional remote control. Almost silent cooling allows use in audio and video recordings without causing disruptive noise. In addition, 13 creative light effects are available to flexibly implement dynamic scenes. With a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 98, the set delivers excellent color fidelity.

The Bi-Color Set also offers 100 watts of power, but with a variable color temperature of 2,700 to 6,500 Kelvin for even more creative possibilities. With the same boost reflector, which reaches up to 46,800 Lux, this set is also a powerful companion for every project. The 71 watt-hour battery ensures a long operating time, while the dual power supply (battery or power adapter) offers maximum flexibility.

The overall package is rounded off by the new accessory set, which is also available separately (59 Euros, RRP: 79 Euros). It was specially developed for the LUX series and includes the boost reflector, barndoors, a softball, and a honeycomb attachment for precise light shaping. All parts can be changed quickly and easily thanks to the new magnetic connection.

The new LUX kits are available now – as a Bi-Color version for 249 Euros (RRP: 299 Euros) and as an RGB variant for 299 Euros (RRP: 349 Euros). The new battery and the matching accessory set are also available separately at www.rollei.de/lux.
