Five new Viltrox video lenses at Rollei

High luminosity, low breathing effect and excellent image quality

Rollei, in cooperation with its partner brand Viltrox, already offers a large range of camera lenses for different mounts. This range is now being expanded with five additional lenses, which, thanks to their high luminosity of T/1.5 and T/2.0, are particularly exciting for videographers, vloggers, and content creators. Three additional cine lenses with Micro Four Thirds (MFT) mount are now available in fixed focal lengths of 23, 33, and 56 millimeters. These are complemented by two full-frame video lenses with a fixed focal length of 20 millimeters for cameras with Sony E- and Panasonic / Leica L-mount.

In cooperation with partner brand Viltrox, Rollei is constantly presenting new lens solutions that offer an impressive price-performance ratio and are extremely popular with customers. With the new Viltrox Cine Lens S 23 mm T/1.5, Viltrox Cine Lens S 33 mm T/1.5 and Viltrox Cine Lens S 56 mm T/1.5, three popular video lenses are now available with the Micro Four Thirds Mount. Also new are two full-frame video lenses, the Viltrox 20 mm T/2.0 with Sony E-Mount and the Viltrox 20 mm T/2.0 with Panasonic / Leica L-Mount. Thanks to their high image quality, the new products should be particularly exciting for videographers, vloggers, and content creators.

The three new Viltrox Cine Lenses

The three cine lenses with fixed focal lengths of 23, 33, and 56 millimeters are characterized by great performance, such as high image quality and zero dissertation. The T/1.5 aperture is also particularly helpful, providing great results even in low light conditions. In addition, there is the minimal to hardly noticeable breathing effect, which ensures calm and better video recordings when the focal length is changed by focusing. The stepless aperture allows for precise settings and is complemented by M0.8 standard gears on the focus and aperture ring of all lenses. This means that compatible support systems and motors can also be used if required.

In addition, the three lenses have 9 lens groups in 10 glasses, or the 23-millimeter variant has 10 lens groups in 11 glasses. Despite all functions, the cine lenses come with a low weight of a maximum of 565 grams.

The new full-frame lenses for Sony and Panasonic / Leica

Also new and particularly exciting for high-quality film recordings are the full-frame lenses with a fixed focal length of 20 millimeters. Available for the Sony E- and Panasonic / Leica L-mount, both video lenses impress with a high luminosity of T/2.0.

Both full-frame lenses, like the other three cine lenses, have gears with standardized 0.8 modules for support systems. Developed specifically for videography, you also benefit from the stepless manual focus. In addition, the front lens has been treated with a special nano-coating for protection against external influences. Another highlight is the low breathing effect, which also ensures particularly calm film recordings with the Viltrox 20 mm T/2.0 with Sony E-mount and the Viltrox 20 mm T/2.0 with Panasonic / Leica L-mount.

The robust full-metal housing protects the internal 9 lens groups with 10 glasses. The outer diameter of 82 millimeters is ideal for the use of optional accessories.
