Rollei presents the first Rollei wildlife camera, the HD-1. It features a five-megapixel CMOS sensor that enables razor-sharp Full HD recordings. The new HD-1 wildlife camera is particularly interesting for nature lovers and animal enthusiasts who want to capture exciting moments in a simple way. Thanks to the IP54 protection class, the wildlife camera is optimally protected against dirt and splash water in all locations.

Norderstedt, 19.10.2022. With the HD-1 wildlife camera, Rollei introduces its first wildlife camera. Thanks to the Full HD resolution, monitoring your patio, garden, or an area in the forest is child's play. The integrated motion sensor, which can be adjusted in three stages, ensures reliable triggering when motion is detected and automatically takes photos and videos. The HD-1 impresses with a trigger range of up to 24 meters and a fast trigger time of approximately 0.3 seconds. The new wildlife camera guarantees color recordings during the day in Full HD resolution. For photo or video recordings during the night, the integrated infrared LEDs with a range of 27 meters for night vision are automatically activated, without disturbing or scaring the animals being observed in their natural environment.

The various settings on the wildlife camera can be conveniently made via the integrated color TFT-LCD display with a two-inch screen diagonal and the adjacent menu buttons. Operating the new HD-1 wildlife camera is intuitive and allows for quick switching between the individual modes. In addition to normal photo or video recording, various functions are available, such as multi-shot recording, interval recording, time-lapse, or timer. The wildlife camera can therefore be precisely adapted to the area and situation to be observed. The password protection of the device for protection against unauthorized access is also practical.

The recorded images are then stored on an SD/SDHC or microSD memory card with up to 512 gigabytes, from where they can be conveniently transferred to your computer.

The HD-1 wildlife camera is not only ideal for hunting and forestry operations, but also for patio owners and garden enthusiasts who want to keep an eye on their private property. The scope of delivery includes everything needed to set up the wildlife camera immediately. The wall mount with a flexible arm, which comes with screws and dowels, as well as the mounting strap, guarantee a secure hold even in strong winds. This includes a wide range of surfaces and objects such as walls, trees or fences. If required, it can even be mounted on a tripod thanks to the integrated 1/4-inch connection. The eight included LR6 (AA) batteries guarantee a long operating time of up to 18 months.
