With the new Desview V5 camera monitor & recorder, Rollei expands its product range with a field monitor featuring a touchscreen display, Full HD resolution, and a practical recording function. Offering a variety of practical functions, connections, and the option to use batteries, the new Desview camera monitor provides absolute flexibility in the studio or on location.

Norderstedt, 12.04.2023. Rollei presents the Desview V5, a sophisticated field monitor specially developed for professional photographers and videographers. The Desview V5 camera monitor & recorder impresses with its simple operation via the 5.5-inch touchscreen display. The display features Full HD resolution and an impressive brightness of 2,800 nits, ensuring that content on the monitor remains perfectly visible even in bright sunlight.

The field monitor is equipped with an integrated recording function that records with a resolution of 1080 pixels to an SD card. The new product also features an HDMI port with 4K support, allowing content to be played back simultaneously on another external device. Two 1/4-inch connectors and a cold shoe adapter ensure secure mounting in horizontal or vertical positions, directly on the camera or on a tripod. Additionally, it offers a variety of functions such as the "False Color" function, which displays overexposed areas in dark red, for example, and allows for correction. Further functions to optimize recordings during shooting include Focus Peaking, Waveform, Vectorscope, Histogram, and LUT import.

Another highlight of the Desview V5 camera monitor & recorder is the option for battery operation with NP-F type batteries, which are sold separately. This ensures longer operating times and greater flexibility in use.

Furthermore, three new teleprompters are being added to the Rollei range for the first time: the Desview TP150 Teleprompter, the Desview T3 Teleprompter, and the Desview T2 Teleprompter. All three teleprompters are perfect for presentations, videos, vlogging, and streaming. Smartphones or tablets up to 15 inches can be clamped into the selected teleprompter. In addition, all three teleprompters offer great flexibility through compatibility with various lens diameters.
