Various Connections: SDI In/Out, 4K HDMI In/Out, NP-F, USB-C and many more

Via the integrated SDI input and output, it is possible to play back content professionally in real-time and without loss, for example from your camera through the monitor to another device. Alternatively, this is also possible via the integrated HDMI input and output. Via the USB port, you can, for example, import LUTs to the monitor with a USB stick. The NP-F, USB-C and DC connections ensure the power supply of the device. The integrated 3.5-millimeter jack connection allows for convenient audio playback via headphones. And for quick and secure mounting in horizontal or vertical position directly on your camera or on a tripod, the integrated 1/4-inch connections on the side and bottom of the monitor, as well as the included cold shoe adapter, are available.

Diverse Functions: False Color, Focus Peaking, Waveform and many more

The Viltrox Camera Monitor DC-X3 has numerous useful functions that are very helpful for photo and video shoots in the studio or on location. With the “Zebra” function, for example, you can see which areas are overexposed, giving you a better overview of contours and bright and dark areas. The “False Color” function allows overexposed areas to be displayed in dark red, for example, and thus corrected. The “Center Cross” function can be set to better adjust aspect ratios. The “Aspect Ratio” function shows which area will be in the picture later, and with video editing software, you can then transfer the photo to the format later, whereas the “Safe Area” function shows which area must absolutely be in the picture so that the recordings can later be transferred to other formats. Through the “Focus Peaking” function, sharpness and blur in the image are more visible, "Focus Peaking" colors can be set in four different colors (Red, Green, Blue, and Grey) and intensities can be adjusted to different strengths. “Waveform,” i.e., the control of the luminance level, and “Grid,” i.e., the division into individual image areas, are also among the other helpful functions with which the DC-X3 camera monitor is equipped. The deflection and recording of audio can be displayed with the “Audio Meter” function, and the monitor has sound playback. In addition, you have the option to quickly and easily load LUTs onto the monitor via the included USB stick, i.e., pre-set color, brightness, saturation, and other settings.

Flexible Power Supply: Operation via NP-F batteries, USB-C power bank or cable

The DC-X3 camera monitor offers flexible power supply options. It comes with an included NP-F battery, but is also compatible with our other available NP-F batteries. Alternatively, it can also be connected to a power bank, for example, via the integrated USB-C port, or powered by a cable via the integrated DC port.
