Magnetic ND Circular Filter Set Mark II

With the F:X Pro Magnetic ND Filter Set Mark II, we have further developed the successful series of magnetic circular filters. The result is a well-thought-out neutral density filter set with many improved details.

The F:X Pro Magnetic ND Filter Set Mark II consists of four ND filters with strengths of ND8, ND64, and ND1000, as well as a circular polarizing filter (CPL filter). With these four filters, you are well-equipped for a variety of photographic challenges. And the best part: thanks to the magnetic mounts, you can change filters extremely quickly and flexibly. The improved mount now makes it even easier to separate the filters, and the imprint on the outside of the filters ensures that the right filter is quickly found in the set.

One filter, multiple lenses

With the F:X Pro Magnetic Step-Up Rings Mark II, the magnetic filters with an 82 mm diameter can be easily mounted on lens threads with a smaller diameter. If you own several lenses with different diameters, we recommend purchasing magnetic filters with an 82 mm diameter and corresponding step-up rings in the diameters of your lenses. This way, you can quickly and easily use all lenses with the magnetic filters.

By the way: you can also simply leave the magnetic base ring or the magnetic step-up ring mounted on your lens. The front cap from the set serves as a lens cap here. However, to still be able to transport the set well protected, we recommend an additional F:X Pro Magnetic Front Cap Mark II. This way, your magnetic filters remain well packed, while you can use them even faster: remove the front cap from the lens, attach the magnetic filter, and you're ready to go.

How to use the magnetic circular filter on the lens:

Filter photography without screwing

With the magnetic neutral density filter set, you can easily change the filters included in the set. To do this, screw the included magnetic adapter ring onto your lens. After that, changing filters is very simple: just place the desired filter on the adapter ring and start shooting. The magnetic mount holds the filter securely. Of course, the circular filters also hold each other, so several filters can be easily attached to the lens and quickly swapped. In addition to the ND filters, you can also easily combine the CPL filter included in the set with the other filters. Secure transport of the filter set

For easy transport, the circular filters can be easily connected via magnets. The two caps included in the set protect the filters. We have also further improved the caps. The end cap is now fully magnetic and no longer needs to be screwed onto the adapter ring. This means the set can be transported securely even if the adapter ring remains on the lens. This way, everything is securely packed yet still handy.

F:X Pro magnetic circular filters

Like all filters in the F:X Pro series, we have also equipped the filters of the F:X Pro Magnetic ND Filter Set Mark II with our specially developed F:X Pro Coating, which ensures that your images are always razor-sharp, even with extremely high-resolution cameras of up to 150 megapixels. The reflection-free quality of our F:X Pro filters is also 99.5 percent. With these filters, you get exemplary color fidelity – and reproduce your subject true to life.

To provide you with products that you can enjoy for a long time, our filters are made of premium filter glass. Thanks to a special manufacturing process, it is legendarily resistant and at the same time guarantees extremely high light transmission and color neutrality. Our anti-scratch layer gives the filter glass its final hardness against mechanical impacts and ensures that dirt from grease, water or mud can also be removed quickly and effortlessly.

But our filters are not only scratch-resistant – but also temperature-resistant. We have tested this under the highest quality standards in scorching heat and biting cold. In short: they are the best filters we have ever built.

Can be combined with other magnetic filters

If the filters included in the set are not enough, we also offer additional filters for our F:X Pro Magnetic Circular Filter Series.

For example, the graduated filters F:X Pro Magnetic Soft GND8 Mark II or F:X Pro Magnetic Soft GND16 Mark II can compensate for contrast differences in the image. With the F:X Pro Magnetic ND filters in different strengths from ND2000 to ND64000, you can significantly extend the exposure time in addition to the filters included in the set. We have also included the well-known Astroklar filter as an F:X Pro Magnetic Astroklar Filter Mark II in our range. And with the new F:X Pro Magnetic Effect Filter Black Mist 1/4 Mark II, stylish cinematic effects can be achieved.
Of course, a Magnetic UV Filter Mark II should not be missing from a sensible filter assortment. All these magnetic filters can be added to the set and transported and used in the same way.

For mounting the F:X Pro Magnetic Circular Filters Mark II on the lens, the F:X Pro Magnetic Base Ring Mark II (included in the F:X Pro Magnetic ND Filter Set Mark II in the ordered size of the set) or an F:X Pro Magnetic Step-Up Ring Mark II (sold separately) is required.
