Replacement Filter Gasket for 100 mm Rectangular Filters
With frequent use and intensive filter photography, the filter gasket that comes standard with our ND and Astroklar filters may come loose. Our replacement 100 mm filter gasket for filters measuring 100 x 100 mm provides a solution for such cases. Thanks to it, light entering from the side is completely blocked again, and nothing stands in the way of your filter photography.
How to Install the 100 mm Filter Gasket
- Clean the back of the filter so that no residue is visible on the filter.
- Place the filter so that the back is facing up. Pay attention to the placement of the lettering.
- Ensure that the filter gasket has two wider and two thinner sides.
- Remove approximately 3 centimeters of the film from one of the two wider sides.
- Now place the filter gasket on the back of the filter, centered, so that one of the wider sides covers the back of the lettering.
- Now peel off the film completely and slide it over the 100 mm filter gasket to press it firmly at the edges. Make sure not to press the center too firmly.
- Remove the central foam rubber from the filter.
