F:X Pro Circular UV Filter

The UV filter of the "F:X Pro" series is an extremely practical screw-on lens attachment, which primarily ensures that the ultraviolet component in sunlight is specifically blocked and does not lead to unwanted color distortions.
UV light is invisible to human eyes and can easily disturb image sharpness – especially with strong magnifications, it can be very problematic.

In addition, a UV filter also has mechanical advantages – due to its otherwise very image-neutral properties, it can remain permanently on the lens (even when shooting without daylight) and thus protects the expensive optics from damage.

Precisely because most camera sensors nowadays already block UV light ex-works, the inexpensive additional protection for expensive lenses is a particularly efficient application area for today's UV filters. And thanks to premium filter glass and dirt-repellent multi-coating, Rollei's UV filters have been optimized precisely for this purpose.

Furthermore, we have equipped them with our F:X Pro Coating, so that their reflection-free quality is 99.5 percent. This guarantees you razor-sharp images – even with "High End" cameras with 150 MP. The color fidelity is exemplary, which means you can capture your surroundings exactly as you saw them.
