Rollei action cameras are known for their excellent price-performance ratio. This also applies to the new Actioncam 9s Plus. We have not only equipped it with a wide-angle lens, which gives you an even better overview as a viewer of videos and photos, but we have also installed a touch display. Additionally, the camera can be operated by remote control, and you also get a front display that is perfect for selfies.

With the action camera, you can take both photos and videos. For photos, you can choose between single shot, burst, time-lapse, and long exposure modes, with the 9s's selfie display also enabling selfie photos. For video recordings, you can choose between normal, time-lapse, slow motion, fast motion, and loop.

For photos, the camera achieves a resolution of up to 20 megapixels, and for moving images, up to 4K (60 fps) is possible. By the way, the camera electronically stabilizes videos using EIS (electronic image stabilization), which makes videos appear even smoother. At the highest resolution, the lithium-ion battery (1000 mAh) provides a recording time of 85 minutes.

The camera is also perfectly adapted to our times in another aspect. With the 9s Plus, you can set up a WiFi network to instantly transfer your videos and photos to your smartphone. This should particularly delight social media fans, as it saves you the trouble of transferring your media from laptop to smartphone to Instagram.

Our new action camera is of course waterproof. Even without the supplied protective housing, it's waterproof up to ten meters, and up to 40 meters with the housing. To make your underwater shots even more impressive, you can perform a white balance with this camera beforehand.
