VILTROX LENSES

At Rollei, we offer a wide range of Viltrox lenses. For example, you will find various focal lengths in our assortment for the following mounts from different camera manufacturers, including Sony E-, Canon EF-, Nikon Z- and Fuji-X-mount cameras.
But don't let the excellent price fool you! Because you will see that these affordable optics are in no way inferior to their originals in terms of sharpness, detail, and bokeh.

Lenses in comparison

To give you an even better overview of the high quality of these lenses and the excellent results you can achieve with them, we have various test reports from professional photographers for you. For example, photographer Stephan Wiesner tested them for us and compared them with lenses from well-known manufacturers. His results will surely impress you. More information about the test and the videos can be found on our blog.

Fast Prime Lenses

VILTROX ADAPTER

With Viltrox lens adapters, you can easily use lenses from one camera manufacturer with cameras from another – creating a crossover product, so to speak. This way, you don't have to get rid of your lenses or cameras; you can simply continue to use them.
Viltrox adapters naturally support autofocus and ensure particularly long durability thanks to their robust aluminum alloy.

VILTROX SPEEDBOOSTER

Speed boosters allow you to achieve a higher light intensity and a lower focal length for your full-frame lens. This applies to cameras with smaller sensors – such as MFT system cameras – which reduce the crop factor.

What it means to use a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor

Mounting a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor is not a problem. You have to imagine it like this: the diameter of the image circle must be larger than the diagonal of the sensor. If that's the case, your image will be fully exposed. That's why full-frame lenses (FX) can be used very well with smaller sensors. The extent to which the diameter is larger than the sensor is called the crop factor. "Crop" in this context means that the image is cropped.

However, if the image circle is smaller than the image sensor, for example, if you take an APS-C lens and combine it with a full-frame sensor, the full-frame sensor will capture more of the image than the lens can "see." Therefore, this outer area of the image cannot be fully exposed, and the image corners will only appear as a dark area in the final image. This is why this option is not advisable at all.
