Accessory rail for expanding accessories
Content creators know the feeling. Often you need a gimbal or a handheld tripod, an external microphone, an external light, and perhaps an additional mount for an action camera, all at the same time. And all of this needs to be attached to the gimbal itself. Why? So that the light and sound accessories are always as close as possible to the smartphone you're using for filming or taking photos.
And that's precisely why we've launched our accessory rail. It's made of sturdy aluminum and offers you many options for mounting accessories with various hot shoe attachments. For example, you can attach our Mini-LED to the rail – and then an external microphone like the Hear:Me Mini to the Mini-LED itself.
You can easily attach the rail to the underside of your gimbal if there is a 1/4-inch thread, which is usually the case (as with our gimbal, for example).
You can also attach the rail to the underside of a camera via the 1/4-inch thread, and in this way mount an LED light on the camera. You can then, for example, attach a microphone to the underside of the rail.
