The integrated 12 W LED modeling light offers stepless color temperature adjustment (2700 K – 6500 K) and can be used as a modeling, video or continuous light – ideal for more control over the lighting mood.

On-Location & Studio: Battery for 450 flashes (at full power)

The powerful lithium-ion battery enables up to 450 flash releases at maximum power, perfect for mobile shoots without a power source. In the studio, the HS Freeze 2X can be charged directly via power adapter, allowing for unlimited use without battery changes.

Fast & intuitive: Touch display and group LED for intuitive control

No complicated menus – the intuitive touch display ensures quick, easy operation. Power levels, flash modes, color temperature, and sync settings can be adjusted directly on the display, allowing you to focus entirely on your shots. The integrated group LED provides a clear visualization of the current group assignment. This allows you to assign your flashes quickly and efficiently to one of 16 groups and keep all settings in view. The LED display on the side of the flash allows for quick control of the selected group.

Thanks to a recycling time of only 0.01 – 1.2 seconds, the HS Freeze 2X is immediately ready again – ideal for continuous shooting and spontaneous flash sequences. The continuous shooting mode with up to 60 flash releases per second enables dynamic continuous shooting – ideal for action, sports, and fashion photography. Even at maximum power, the charging time remains minimal, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow without waiting times.

Capture movement: 60 fps continuous shooting & flash duration

With 60 fps high-speed continuous shooting and an ultra-short flash duration of up to 1/24,700 sec., the flash freezes even the fastest movements razor-sharp. Perfect for action, sports, and high-speed photography, where every detail counts.

• Freeze mode for maximum precision:
