With an operating weight of only 705 g including battery, the HS Freeze 1X is designed for maximum mobile comfort. The housing is barely larger than a conventional hot shoe flash, yet it offers the superior light characteristics and endurance of a full-fledged studio flash.

Despite its compact dimensions, the device delivers a considerable flash output of 100 Ws. This allows for significantly higher light reserves compared to standard hot shoe flashes, which is crucial, especially when shooting against bright ambient light or when using larger light modifiers.
