Thanks to the carbon tubes, the total weight of the Rollei C6i tripod could be reduced by a whole quarter. The stability of course does not suffer from this and even benefits from the enormous resistance of carbon in the direction of the fibers. The load capacity has not decreased by a single gram either. With a total weight of a little more than one and a half kilograms, the C6i Carbon carries an impressive 12 kg of equipment, which corresponds to eight times its own weight, including the 3D ball head, of course.
