Speedboosters contain a lens system (glasses) that shorten the actual focal length by the specified factor and increase the light output.

speed booster can be explained in such a way that they contain a lens system, whereby the actual focal length of a lens is shortened by the given factor. This effect becomes clear in the following example. A lens has a focal length of 100 millimeters. If a 0.71x speed booster is attached, the focal length is now 71 millimeters.
Another advantage: with these speed boosters you gain one f-stop. This means that a maximum aperture of 2.8 through the speed booster can be increased to f/2, giving more light.
Another advantage of the two accessories mentioned is that they are not only particularly easy to attach, but that they can even receive updates via a USB interface. It is also exciting that the EXIF data is also transferred and the autofocus can be used.
