The Rollei HS Freeze 1s expands our successfulHS Freeze Blitz family about the first clip-on flash . Equipped with a Lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 1,600 mAh, one Flash power of 80 Ws and a guide number of 60, each adjustable in 9 f-stops, it offers flexibility and performance in a portable format.

With a single charge you can achieve over 450 trips , so you have enough power on the go to capture your subjects exactly as you want them. It is compatible clip-on flash with Canon, Sony*, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus cameras and with the "Rollei Profi Funksender" radio transmitters,Rollei professional radio transmitter Mark II andRollei Profi U7 radio trigger.

In the Speedlite mode the flash is only triggered via the hot shoe of the connected camera.
In the master mode acts the clip-on flash as a wireless remote trigger for compatible flashes. The integrated flash of the flash head can be activated or deactivated.
In the slave mode the flash can use other radio triggers, such as theProfessional radio trigger Mark II, to be triggered.

The HS Freeze 1s clip-on flash offers you the Flash modes TTL and Manual .

With TTL enjoy the convenience of automatic functions, which prove to be very advantageous in changing light conditions, e.g. during outdoor shoots, as they save you the constant manual correction of the flash output on the device.

In the Manual mode (M) you can easily set the desired flash output and all other settings manually via the 2.8 large touchscreen..

The flash has the following sync modes in Speedlite, Slave and Master modes.

1. The High speed sync HSS enables faster shutter speeds than the usual flash sync speeds. Depending on the camera model, this is up to 1/10,000 second.
2. The Freeze sync offers, depending on the camera model, even higher shutter speeds of up to 1/50,000 s (t = 0.5). With even faster shutter speeds, you can freeze fast action, flash against the sun and use wider apertures for outdoor portraits.
3. In the Sync on first shutter the flash is triggered with a short sync time at the beginning and then the ambient light is used to show the movement.
4. In the Sync on the second shutter the flash fires at the end of the shutter speed with a short burn-up time, after capturing movement over the ambient light.

To avoid interference when working with multiple devices, you can click 31 channels and 6 groups work distributed.

The integrated shutter button offers additional flexibility for creative settings and operation via a remote shutter release ¼ thread connections on the outside of HS Freeze 1s , as well as the supplied one Cold shoe stand .
